When I organized my photo album today, I find many of my old food shots are really good. Some are still my favorite and best to date. These photos were taken from 2011 to 2013.

Indeed the lighting for food photography is kind simple. You give a big soft light, food will always look good. My lighting skill has not change much since 3 years ago. Having good looking food, nice table cloth or placemat, some props, nice background. These are the things I believe make food photography stand out than an average food shot. Do not got caught up in too much with lighting. It is not product photography.
